Our websites are our digital stores. Like any store, inventory and pricing need to be updated. Whether you are selling online or just showcasing work, there is always something to update on our websites. This workshop is a dedicated time once a month for artists and business owners to work on their sites.
As our businesses change and evolve, we want our customers to be able to access the most current information. Strategizing your messages across web, social, and digital media can make that message consistent and build trust in the brand.
We will be covering topics related to web and online presence such as: domain names and websites, search engines and algorithms, ecommerce, email, analytics, information architecture, QR Codes, image sizing and copyrighting.
With over 25 years in web, Kariba will be hosting these sessions, sharing information around the daily topic and then providing space for everyone to work on their sites. As technical questions arise, we will discuss as a group to accelerate learning.

Workshop participants will give brief introductions and get a chance to get some tea or coffee before we begin.

Based on interest and relevancy, we will have a specific subject that Kariba will be providing some background, insight and history on as well as challenges and ways of overcoming them.

Participants will pull up their own websites, online stores or social media to work on. As questions arise, Kariba will help individuals and using screen sharing will walk you through how to find the right answers, how to trouble shoot, and how to test before publishing fixes.

We will begin to wrap-up and save our work. Talk about the next subject matter that participants are interested in learning and set the agenda for the next month.
