This photograph was taken at a time when I had just decided to leave my corporate job and pursue my passions. It was a difficult decision, but standing on the beach, letting the sun set in front of me and being completely in that moment, I felt that everything was right in the world. I’m not meant to sit at a computer all day and listen to meetings where my voice is not heard. It was time for me to shine and to fully do this, I needed to step away. And that’s what I did. What a gift this image brings me in taking me right back to that moment.
