August Newsletter

July came and went without a newsletter.  I know you were all sitting on the edge of your seat for what is coming next.  Well, let me catch you up.

We held a coloring contest and were able to award 5 tickets to the Ventura County Fair to the winner. It was so fun to see how excited they were to receive the prize.  We will continue this as a tradition each year.

Two oil paintings with dark brown backgrounds. One with a blooming agave plant. The other a scene of a garden with many green leaves in various shapes with a white angel holding a small bird statue tucked in among the plants

Paintings displayed at the Ventura County Fair

As a fan of our local fair, I entered two paintings that were accepted into the Professional Arts Display Building.
